Metal Removal
in Toronto

Old radiators, a dead fridge, the furnace the HVAC guys left in the driveway, a garage full of pipe and rims. We haul metal out of Toronto homes, laneway garages and job sites at no charge — and we're built for the narrow drives and rear lanes the big trucks can't manage.

Toronto Metal Is
Old, Heavy, Awkward

Toronto's housing stock is a century old across most of the old city, and that changes what comes out of it. In Brampton we load patio sets and aluminum siding. In Riverdale and Cabbagetown we're carrying cast iron radiators down staircases that were built before anyone considered getting a radiator back down them.

The other Toronto problem is access. Rear laneways, shared drives, permit-parking streets where a full-size truck can't legally sit for twenty minutes. We run smaller vehicles and take more trips rather than telling you we can't get in — which is the answer most haulers give once they see the street.

And a lot of our Toronto volume is renovation-driven. Gut jobs in Leslieville, kitchen tear-outs in the Junction, HVAC swaps across the Beaches. If you're a contractor with a pile growing on the front lawn and neighbours starting to comment, that's a call we take most days.

The practical difference

Us vs.
City Bulky Pickup

The City of Toronto will take some metal on your regular collection day, and for one old bike frame that's genuinely the easiest option. Use it. We're not going to pretend otherwise.

Where it stops working is volume and location. City collection caps how much you can put out, runs only on your scheduled day, requires appliances with refrigerant to be handled separately, and will not enter your property — everything has to be at the curb, which is the whole problem when the item weighs 300 lbs and lives in a basement.

We come when it suits you, take as much metal as you have, handle fridges and freezers, and can come inside for the heavy items. The trade-off is that we only want metal. If your pile is half metal and half broken furniture, tell us when you book and we'll quote the non-metal portion honestly rather than surprising you on the day.

The process

How It Works
in Toronto

01
Tell Us the Address
Book online or text a photo of the pile. Mention laneway or condo dock access — that's what decides which vehicle we send.
02
We Confirm a Window
Usually within a few hours. We work around permit parking and condo elevator bookings rather than against them.
03
We Load It
Curb, garage, basement or third floor. You don't carry anything and you don't need to be home for curbside jobs.
04
It's Gone. Free.
Metal goes to a licensed Ontario yard and gets recycled. No fee, no paperwork, no follow-up call.
Common questions

Toronto
FAQ

How is this different from City of Toronto bulky item collection?
City collection runs on your regular garbage day, caps how many items you can put out, and won't take anything from inside your home or garage. We come on our own schedule, take unlimited metal, and handle items the City refuses — sealed appliances, furnaces, full renovation loads.
Can you reach a downtown laneway or a narrow shared driveway?
Yes. Most of our Toronto work is in older neighbourhoods with tight rear lanes and shared drives, so we run vehicles sized for them. If access is genuinely impossible we'll hand-carry to the nearest legal loading point rather than cancel on you.
Do you take cast iron radiators out of old Toronto houses?
Yes, and it's one of our most common Toronto jobs. A standard Victorian or Edwardian radiator runs 150–400 lbs. Free if it's already disconnected and at the curb. If it's still in an upstairs bedroom, that's a Premium Plus interior removal — we bring the straps and stair dollies.
Do you serve Toronto condos and apartment buildings?
Yes. Condo jobs need a loading dock or service elevator booking, which your building manager arranges. Tell us the window when you book and we'll schedule around it — most downtown buildings only allow moves in fixed time slots.
Is scrap metal removal in Toronto actually free?
Yes for standard curbside or garage-level metal. We make our money at the scrap yard, not from you. Charges only apply when a job needs labour rather than hauling — interior removals, disconnection work, or loads mixed with non-metal junk.
Can you clear a renovation site or work with contractors?
Yes. We work with renovators, HVAC and plumbing crews, and property managers across Toronto. If you're generating metal regularly we'll set up an on-call arrangement so you're not re-booking every week — call and ask for commercial.
