Some metal you can carry to the curb. The rest is why we exist — cast iron radiators, dead furnaces, water heaters, chain-link fencing, workshop machinery. We come in, take it out, and haul it away. Standard removal is free.
People search for both and mean slightly different things, so here is the distinction we work to.
Pickup is when the metal is already outside. It is on the driveway, by the garage, stacked at the curb. We arrive, load it, and go. This is always free, no conditions, no minimum.
Removal is when it is still where it has been sitting for thirty years. Bolted to a basement floor, sitting in a second-floor bedroom, sunk into the back fence line. That takes people, dollies and time.
Removal is still free when the item is at ground level and already disconnected. When it needs to come down stairs or out of a tight basement, that is our Premium Plus service and it starts around $75 — quoted before we arrive, never adjusted on the day.
If your furnace or water heater is still connected to a gas line, it has to be disconnected by a licensed gas technician before we can touch it. We are haulers, not fitters, and in Ontario that work is regulated for good reason.
Electric units, already-capped gas units, and anything a plumber or HVAC crew has already disconnected — we take those the same day you call. If a contractor has just swapped your tank and left the old one in the driveway, that is a free pickup and one of the most common calls we get.
Free standard removal or Premium Plus for interior jobs. Text a photo and we'll price it within the hour.
