What Does E-Waste Removal Cost?

Every e-waste job is quoted from a photo. Send us a picture of what you have and the address, and we'll reply with a price and a day, in writing. Office and server-room clear-outs are quoted per job.

Same-day pickup is available for +$75–150 when the schedule allows. The price you're given is the price you pay: nothing is added on the day. See all our prices →

We don't take this

Loose batteries go to a battery drop-off; Best Buy and City of Toronto depots take them.

Loose batteries — lithium, lead-acid, laptop or power-tool batteries
Old tube (CRT) TVs and monitors
Anything with refrigerant: fridges and AC units go through Appliance Removal

UPS units: take the battery out first. A battery sealed inside a device, like a laptop, can go with it if it's undamaged.

Office & IT Clear-Outs

Moving offices, closing a server room or replacing a fleet of computers? We clear the lot in one visit: desks and cabinets as well as the electronics. Weekday and Saturday pickups, 7 am to 7 pm.

Do you take old computers and laptops?

Yes. We take desktops, laptops, towers and all-in-ones, working or not.

Can you clear out a server room or IT closet?

Yes. We remove servers, racks, switches, UPS units and cabling, and can take the furniture in the same visit.

How much does e-waste pickup cost in Toronto?

It depends on what and how much. Send a photo and the address and Scrap Metal Men will reply with a price. Every price is confirmed in writing before we book, and nothing is added on the day.

Do you pick up e-waste from businesses?

Yes. Offices, sign shops, warehouses and IT departments across the GTA. We can set up regular pickups.

Do you take TVs and monitors?

Flat-screen monitors and TVs: send a photo and we'll confirm before we book. Old tube (CRT) TVs and monitors: no.

Do you take batteries?

No, not loose batteries. A battery sealed inside a device, like a laptop, can go with it if it's undamaged.

What happens to my hard drive?

Remove or wipe your hard drives before pickup. We don't offer data destruction.

Do you pick up in Mississauga, Brampton and Vaughan?

Yes. We cover Toronto, Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Richmond Hill and the rest of the GTA.

How fast can you pick up?
